Ennen digitaalisten kellojen tulvaa go-pelien kestoa rajoitettiin pääasiassa perinteisillä mekaanisilla shakkikelloilla. Niistä Suomen goturnauksissa useiten nähtyjä ovat venäläinen Jantar (Янтарь) ja ruotsalainen(?) vipukäyttöinen tornikello

Mekaanisen kellon vahvuuksia:

• Ei tarvitse pattereita
• Kellotaulu on hyvä tapa näyttää aikaa
• Koska lisäaikaominaisuudet pitää hoitaa itse, byoyomin alku ei voi jäädä huomaamatta
• Kellon asettaminen on erittäin yksinkertaista: molemmille kelloille on oma ruuvi, muita säätimiä ei juuri ole.
• Useimmat mallit ovat erittäin kestäviä

Mekaanisen kellon heikkouksia:

• Jäljellä olevaa aikaa ei näe sekunnin tarkkuudella
• Rajoittaa käytettävissä olevia lisäaikajärjestelmiä (lähinnä kanadalainen byoyomi tulee kyseeseen, ellei erillistä byoyominlaskijaa ole)
• Ei muista edellistä asetusta, joten suurissa turnauksissa ruuvattavaa on paljon

Jos kuvalinkkiin lisää risuaidan (#), niin kuvalinkkiä ei laajenneta.

Niinpäs ei näköjään laajennetakaan. Sen sijaan se rikotaan, ainakin jos liitteestä on kyse. Täydellisellä urlilla näköjään suostui. Kannattaisikohan tämä ensiksi dokumentoida jonnekin ja sitten heti tehdä jotenkin viisaammin. -Bass

Don't try to use HTML, since it just won't work.

To embed images just put them available on the web using one of the approved formats, and they will get inlined automatically. To see the list of approved formats, go check SystemInfo.
