Hey,

Please send this to people who could be interested in your countries.

Hello,

The EYGML staff wishes all go players a happy new year! As you might allready know, in 2006 we organized a tournament called the European Youth Masters League. Twelve players played a round robin tournament and the best eight were invited in November to the finals held in Strasbourg. Ondrej Fidrmuc, 4 dan from the Czech Republic was the winner of the first European Youth Masters Cup.

This year we've decided to open this tournament to all European players born in 1983 and later that are 3dan or stronger. Players wo do not exactly correspond to those criterias can send their application anyway. We will probably accept players from countries who do not have players stronger than 3dan and foreigner players who have lived in a European country for some time.

Once we've received all applications we will place participants in different groups. Each group will then play their own round robin tournament, to be played on KGS. On average all player will have to play approximately 8 games in total. Best players of each group will be qualified to play the league finals that will take place at the end of the year in Strasbourg. Travel and accomodation costs for those qualified will be covered by the organisation.

If you think you might just about meet the requirments, and wish to participate in this year's EYGML, please write us (eygml2007@gmail.com) an e-mail before upcoming February 5th. Be sure to include the following details:

* Surname
* First Name
* Country
* Club
* Date of Birth
* Rank
* EGF rating (If applicable)
* KGS nickname
