Helsinki Casual 20.5.2023 #

Helsinki Casual on Helsingissä toukokuussa pelattava turnaus. Turnauksessa pelataan kolme kierrosta McMahon-systeemillä. Turnauksessa pelataan tasoituspelejä ja tasoitus on MMS pisteiden erotus -1. Turnauksessa on myös huippuryhmä joiden MMS pisteet asetetaan ensimmäisellä kierroksella samaan arvoon. Muiden pelaajien MMS pisteet asetetaan luokituksen mukaisesti. Huippuryhmän tarkoituksena ei kuitenkaan ole selvittää varsinaista voittajaa turnaukselle, sillä kierroksia pelataan vain kolme. Tarkoituksena on järjestää mukava ja rento turnaus, joka sopii kaikentasoisille pelaajille. Kaikki ovat tervetulleita pelaamaan!

  • Joka siirrosta 15 sekuntia lisää (Fischer)
  • Komi 6,5 pistettä, tasoituspeleissä 0,5 pistettä

Pelaaminen on kaikilla kierroksilla vapaata, eli kierroksia voi jättää väliin, jos siltä tuntuu. Jos aiot jättää kierroksia väliin, ilmoita siitä turnausjärjestäjille riittävän ajoissa!

Turnauspaikka #

Turnaus pelataan Helsingissä. Pelipaikan katuosoite on Mechelininkatu 3 D, −1. kerros. Pelipaikka Googlen kartalla.

Helsingin rautatieasema on noin 1,5 kilometrin ja Kampin keskus noin 750 metrin päässä turnauspaikalta, joten turnaukseen pääsee kätevästi junalla ja bussilla.

Osallistumismaksut #

  • Ennakkoilmoittautuneet 5 euroa
  • Jälki-ilmoittautuneet 10 euroa
  • 10 kyut ja heikommat 0 euroa

Ennakkoilmoittautuminen tarkoittaa sitä, että on kirjoittanut tietonsa turnauksen ilmoittautumissivulle viimeistään turnausta edeltävänä perjantaina klo 20:00. Myös ennakkoilmoittautujien pitää ilmoittautua turnausaamuna.

Palkinnot #

Kaikki turnauksessa kolme peliä voittaneet saavat 10 euroa.

Helsinki Casual 20. May 2023 #

Helsinki Casual is a tournament in the centre of Helsinki in May. The tournament will be played with McMahon system and it lasts three rounds. Games are played with full handicap based on the difference in McMahon points. Thanks to the tournament's very relaxed nature and very generous handicap system Helsinki Casual fits players of all levels. Everyone is welcome to play in Helsinki Casual!

Registration

Tournament rules #

  • Three rounds McMahon tournament
  • Japanese rules and EGF tournament rules
  • Top group size will be approximately 8-16 people based on registrations
  • Handicap stones are used if players' MMS difference is two or greater. Handicap will be the MMS difference - 1.
  • No tie breakers. Equal MMS points are equal standings. e.g. Players with 3 wins are tied.
  • EGF C-class tournament.
  • Basic time 30 minutes
  • For every move, time is incremented by 15 seconds. (Fischer)
  • Komi 6,5 points, in handicap games 0,5 points

Players are free to skip as many rounds as they want to. If you want to skip rounds, please notify the organisers well in advance!

Tournament venue #

The street address for the tournament venue is Mechelininkatu 3 D, basement (−1) floor. The tournament venue on Google Maps.

The Helsinki central railway station is around 1.5 kilometres and the Kamppi bus terminal around 750 meters away from the tournament venue.

Participation fees #

  • Pre-registered players 5 euros
  • Late registration fee 10 euros
  • 20 kyu and higher 0 euros

Pre-registration ends on Friday preceding to the tournament at eight o'clock in the evening. So if you want to pay the reduced participation fee, write your information on the registration page before this deadline. Pre-registered players are required to attend the registration on Saturday morning.

Prizes #

All of the players that manage to win three games will receive 10 euros.
