Opiskelijoiden EM-kisat 2007 pelataan Tukholmassa 6.-8.8.

Suomen viralliset edustajat ovat Mika Urtela (3 dan) ja Suvi Leppänen (1 kyu).

Kuten turnauksen sivuilta selviää, opiskelija-EM:iin voi osallistua kuka tahansa suomalainen opiskelija. Käsittääkseni muut osallistujat eroavat maan virallisista turnausedustajista vain siten, että muut eivät saa matka- ja majoitustukia. Tukholma on aika lähellä ja turnaus voi helposti houkutella suomalaisia opiskelijoita mukaan enemmänkin. Kerätään tänne siis tietoa kaikista lähtijöistä ja jos porukkaa kertyy enemmän, voidaan vaikka suunnitella yhteisiä matkoja ja majoitusta, jos sellaiseen on kiinnostusta. -Janne, 25.5.2007

Jep, tietysti muutkin kuin viralliset edustajat ovat tervetulleita. Kyselin majoituksesta Henriciltä, ja vastaus oli seuraava:

Hi Suvi,

the prices for non-"official" participants if we make the reservation are:

Bed in 4-bed room, shower&toilet in corridor, 270 SEK
Bed in 4-bed room with shower&toilet, 330 SEK
Bed in double room, 430 SEK

breakfast, sheets, towels and final cleaning included.
1 euro = 9.2 SEK or so.

At the moment I have 36 beds reserved in total, in different cathegories, so there is plenty of room. If there are lots of registrants I can still reserve more,
but at some points they may be filled up. One month before the events I will have to give up most of the reserved beds which have not been taken by then.

There are other accommodation alternatives available as well of course. Let me know if you need any more suggestions. Zinkensdamm is good because it is 
within easy walking distance and quite nicely situated in a big park.

Teemu on myös kiinnostunut lähtemään (vaikkei turnaukseen mukaan pääsekään), joten ainakin yhteen neljän hengen huoneeseen näyttäisi olevan riittävästi porukkaa. Matkustukseksi ehdotan laivaa Turusta (näyttäisi olevan merkittävästi halvempi, kuin Helsingistä) joko sunnuntain päivälaivalla tai su-ma -yölaivalla. Antoine Fenech (5 dan Ranskasta) kertoi matkustavansa Suomeen Euroopan go-kongressin jälkeen ja toivoi suomalaisista matkaseuraa Ruotsiin opiskelijakisoihin. --Suvi, 26.05.2007

Olen itse aika kattavasti kartoittanut pääkaupunkiseudun lähtijöitä ja täältä tuskin tulee enempää. Täältä mennään porukalla varhain sunnuntaiaamulla junalla Turkuun, josta päivälaivalla Tukholmaan. Paluu torstaiaamuna samoin päivälaivalla Tukholmasta Turkuun, josta junalla eteenpäin. --Janne, 31.7.2007
