Gon Suomen mestaruus -karsinnat pidetään tänä vuonna 2000 Euroopan kulttuuripääkaupungissa Helsingissä, "Silkkitie Helsinkiin" -näyttelyn yhteydessä.

Osallistuminen:

               Osallistujien täytyy olla Suomen Go-liiton tai siihen
               kuuluvan kerhon jäseniä. Kaksi parasta pääsevät jatkoon
               kuuden pelaajan SM-sarjaan, joka pelataan 13.-15.10.

Turnausmaksu: 50 mk

              Tallberginkatu 1C/15, Helsinki

Säännöt:      Turnauksessa käytetään eurooppalaisia turnaussääntöjä.
              Pelisäännöt ovat WAGC:n (japanilaiset) säännöt.
              Pelit ovat tasa-avauspelejä, komi on 6½ pistettä.

              Turnaussysteemi on MacMahon.

Peliaika:     2x60 min + 20 kiveä/5 min byoyomi.
