6.-7.11. 1999 Turku-Cup

Turku-Cup järjestettiin nyt ensimmäistä kertaa. Osanotto ei päätä huimannut ja turnausjärjestelmä keräsi sekä kehuja että kritiikkiä. Lauantaina pelattiin 30+30 minuutin miettimisajoin ja sunnuntain finaaleissa miettimisaikaa pidennettiin 45+45 minuuttiin + 20 sek. byo-yomit päälle. Markku pokkasi odotetusti pokaalin kun Vesa tyytyi tuomaroimaan ja kommentoimaan pelejä.
