The second Korean Ambassador’s Cup in Finland will be played 10.-11.1.2009. The first prize is a place in the 4th Korean Prime Minister Cup in South Korea autumn 2009 including the travel accommodation, tournament and associate events. The Finnish Go Association organises the tournament in co-operation with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Amateur Baduk Association.

In the open tournament four rounds are played on Saturday and three on Sunday with McMahon system. After four rounds the eight best Finnish players play a knock out on Sunday to resolve the prize winner. The other players will continue in the McMahon tournament. The members of the Finnish Go association and foreign players staying in Finalnd are allowed to participate in the tournament.
