AlphaGo haastoi koko ihmiskunnan vahvimpana pelaajana pidetyn Lee Sedolin viiden ottelun sarjaan. Ottelusarja pelataan maaliskuun 9. päivästä alkaen, ja ne lähetetään suorana lähetyksenä DeepMindin youtube-kanavalla
