Fundraiser tournament 2026 25.-26.4.2026 #
Fundraiser tournament 2026 is a go tournament arranged at Helsinki in April. Collected funds will help the so called "lukiopilotti", which is a upper secondary education tournament project. The Finnish Go Association's spring meeting will be held along side with the tournament.
Information about the tournament #
Time: 25.-26.4.2026.
Venue: YliGo Go clubroom (Mechelininkatu 3 d, 00100 Helsinki, downstairs).
Tournament system: 5 rounds McMahon with even games.
Rules: Japanese. Komi 6,5 for white.
Time control: TBC, 45 min + 15 sec Fischer.
Participation fee: Pay whatever you feel like is appropriate according to your own conscience and ability.
The collected funds will be directed to pilot of the school project, by which the influence and the knowledge of Go is supposed to spread into upper secondary education and to reach new, larger player base with young people.
A suggestion for a well-off person's participation fee is 30€, but it's ok to pay less according to one's ability to support the project with more.
Rewards: Merchandise awards and diplomas. 2€ per player will be directed to Finnish Go Association and the rest will be directed to the "lukiopilotti". Sauna will be paid by already settled separate donations directed to it.

Information about the accommodation#
There is room for one person to have a place to sleep in Kaitaa.If you say so on a conversation page, tournament organizers will look into possibility for more. There's a culture of couch sharing in Finland for travelers in need.

Kolehtiturnaus 2026 on Helsingissä huhtikuussa pelattava go-turnaus varojen keräämiseksi "lukiopilotille", eli toisen asteen turnauksen projektille. Samassa yhteydessä pidetään Suomen go-liiton kevätkokous.

Pelipaikka: YliGon kertsi (Mechelininkatu 3 d alakerrassa).
Turnaussysteemi: 5 kierroksen McMahon tasa-aluilla.
Säännöt: Japanilaiset. Komi 6,5 valkealle.
Peliajat: Vahvistuu, 45 min + 15 sec fischer.
Osallistumismaksu: Osallistumismaksu omantunnon ja maksukyvyn mukaan.
Varainkeruuturnauksen tuotot käytetään suoraan pilottiin kouluprojektista, jolla pyritään levittämään gota toisen asteen kouluihin, ja tätä kautta tavoittamaan uusi, laajempi pelaajakunta nuorista.
Ehdotus hyvin toimeentulevan osallistumismaksulle on 30 e, mutta omien kykyjen mukaan voi maksaa pienenkin summan, tai tukea hanketta enemmän.
Palkinnot: Tavarapalkintoja ja diplomeja. SGL:lle tilitetään turnausmaksu 2 € / pelaaja, ja loppu tilitetään lukiopilotille. (Sauna maksetaan sille erikseen suunnatuin lahjoitusvaroin)
