9.1.03	1	Jusan-dan	5/6. Voitin 3 kyun ja neljä 2 kyuta, mutta hävisin 1 kyulle (jolla oli jo shodanin korotus tulossa) 0,5 pistettä kun tein 8 pisteen loppupelimokan. Viiden voiton lisäksi sain kirjapalkinnon "Ma Xiaochun: The Thirty-six Stratagems Applied to Go". Luokituskomitea myönsi korotuksen 1 kyuksi turnaustuloksen ja aiempien suoritusten perusteella (samalla kertaa korotettiin myös Teemu shodaniksi).

Arvio pelatuista peleistä vuosittain:#

Kiintoisaa on, että saavutin IGS:ssä luokituksen 1d* syksyn 2002 alussa eli samoihin aikoihin kun tuhannen pelin raja meni rikki. Eli pitääkö sanonta tuhannesta pelistä shodaniksi paikkansa? (Jos ei muuten, niin ainakin sopivalla shodanin arvolla :-)
